The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Channel Account Manager to join our team in St Petersburg, Florida. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with new and existing, MSP and VAR channel partners to drive net new revenue.

In this quota-carrying role, you will have full responsibility in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve your sales target, as well as managing the onboarding and enablement process.

You will have a strong background in sales and account management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the channel sales model. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will report into our Global Head of Channel, who is based in the UK. You will ideally be based out of our office in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Your day-to-day

  • Manage and grow existing relationships within the US and LatAm cybersecurity channel community
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new partnerships to drive long-term growth within the channel
  • Co-develop and execute strategic plans for your territory to achieve sales targets
  • Manage all partner onboarding, training sessions, quarterly business reviews
  • Coordinate access to online and onsite training on new products, solution sets, Heimdal corporate direction, value proposition, etc.
  • Drive joint opportunity development activities with channel partners through account mapping and marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of channel forecasting and pipeline with your manager and your partners; provide reporting and analytical data to track and measure your performance against your monthly and annual targets.
  • Provide reporting and analytical data to your partners in order to support and drive achievement within the Heimdal Nexus Partner Program
  • Work closely with the global sales, channel and marketing team to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Establish strong partner relationships at all levels, demonstrate advanced solution selling capabilities, conduct sales presentations and leverage all available resources to grow the channel community in your territory

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience in technology or security sales as a Channel Manager, ideally selling SaaS solutions and a network of existing partner relationships
  • Comfortable in engaging senior partner sales executives
  • Be a self-starter with a competitive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and a good verbal communicator
  • Experience of recruiting either MSPs and/or VARs, not just managing existing relationships
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • A strong sales and business acumen and the ability to become the trusted advisor to partners
  • A team player
