Are you passionate about software innovation and teamwork? As a Software Development Engineer, you´ll play a pivotal role in driving the execution of cutting-edge UNEEG software projects. In this role, you´ll take ownership of your tasks while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment, developing and maintaining data collection and processing solutions using technologies from the Microsoft .NET stack within an Azure Cloud environment.

Our mission is to collect ultra-long-term EEG data in everyday situations, process it, and help our patients receive better treatment while making a difference in the epilepsy world!
As Software Development Engineer at UNEEG medical, you will:

• Contribute to the planning and tracking of software activities.
• Play an active role in defining software requirements and architecture.
• Develop, maintain, and debug code across multiple software products.
• Perform designated testing and development tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with other SDEs and testers to align and coordinate efforts.
• Ensure that all work processes and deliverables adhere to the UNEEG Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for tools and processes.
• Operate effectively within a medical device-regulated environment.
• Work in alignment with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) best practices.

Qualifications required that you have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.), or a related field.
• Ideally, at least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages & frameworks, such as .NET / C#
• Familiarity with developing safety-critical software, preferably in compliance with IEC 62304.
• Understanding of formal software verification processes.
• Experience using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies and Sprint planning.
• (Optional) Experience with embedded software development (C, C++)
