Enable responsible risk management in the Nordic branches
Non-Financial Risk (NFR) is a second line of defence function within Group Risk Management, responsible for advising, overseeing, and setting standards for non-financial risk management across Danske Bank. In the NFR Nordics Team, we oversee Nordic branches and several group functions in Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

As a Senior Risk Specialist, you will focus on the Finnish branch, where you will engage with stakeholders across the organisation to cover diverse and complex topics that support the bank’s goals and ambitions in the market. Your primary workplace is in Helsinki, Finland.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting and challenging the first line of defence on NFR framework implementation and promoting a sound risk culture.
• Enhancing second line oversight and monitoring.
• Establishing thematic reviews at both local and Group-wide levels in collaboration with other NFR teams.
• Representing NFR in relevant forums such as committees, councils, SteerCos, etc.
• Building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders across NFR and the three lines of defence.

You will bring with you:

• At least 5 years of experience in risk management.
• A good understanding of non-financial risk methodologies, standards, and the regulatory landscape, such as BCBS, ECB, and EBA.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• An analytical and pragmatic approach to risk management.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
